MENDRISIO - Plenitude has strengthened its electric mobility network in Switzerland with the launch of its largest high-power charging hub in the country at FoxTown Factory Stores in Mendrisio. Strategically located in one of the busiest shopping destinations in Italian-speaking Switzerland, the new infrastructure offers ultra-fast charging solutions tailored to both short and extended visits. The project confirms Plenitude's growing commitment to sustainable mobility and cross-border e-mobility services across Europe. With advanced charging performance and broad accessibility, the new hub is set to become a key reference point for international EV drivers travelling through the region.

Plenitude launches new charging hub for electric vehicles at the FoxTown Factory Stores Outlet in Switzerland. Plenitude, through its subsidiary Plenitude On The Road, announces the activation of a new high-power charging hub for electric vehicles at the FoxTown Outlet in Mendrisio, in the Canton of Ticino, one of the main commercial centres in Italian-speaking Switzerland. The site is equipped with 3 Ultra Fast charging stations with power output of up to 400 kW and 4 charging stations with power output of up to 100 kW, for a total of 17 charging points. The infrastructure, characterised by differentiated power outputs, has been designed to guarantee a flexible service capable of meeting the needs both of those making short stops and of those spending more time inside the shopping centre. The new hub, the largest operated by Plenitude in Switzerland, strengthens the Company’s presence in the country.

Furthermore, through the interoperability of charging infrastructures, the Plenitude On The Road app provides access to approximately 600 thousand charging points distributed across Europe, of which 15 thousand are in Switzerland and 74 thousand in Italy.
